HMA Desktop - Printers and Favorites
Add printers to HMA Desktop
1. Login to the new HMA Desktop via Citrix Workspace. Double click the “HMA Printers” shortcut on your Desktop. This will open a new window.
2. Use the search box to find your printers. Double click each printer you wish to have mapped and it will install. Each printer should only take a few seconds to install.
3. After installation, the print queue for the printer will open. Close this box and you are done.
Set a default printer in HMA Desktop
1. Login to HMA Desktop and left click the ^ icon located in the bottom right of your screen.
2. Right click on “Citrix WEM Agent” and select Manage Printers.
3. Select the printer you would like to make default and then click “Set as default”.
Moving Chrome Bookmarks from Heritage Desktop to HMA Desktop
1. Open Google Chrome in Heritage Desktop then click on the 3 vertical dots in the top right of the window.
2. Go to Bookmarks and select Bookmark Manager.
3. Another three dots will appear in the blue bar at the top right of the next screen. Click these and select “Export bookmarks”.
4. This will open a Window to save your exported bookmarks. Name the file something you will
remember and save it to your personalized U drive, which can be found under “This PC”.
Importing your bookmarks into HMA Desktop
1. Login to HMA Desktop, open Google Chrome, and then click on the 3 vertical dots in the top right of the window.
2. Go to Bookmarks and select “Import bookmarks and settings”.
3. Select Bookmarks HTML File and click Choose File.
4. Select the bookmarks file you saved previously in your personalized U: drive, found under This PC, and click open.
